{Easy Peasy Recipeasy} Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

So easy.

So delicious.

IMG_4659_1It’s almost silly for me to write a post about this recipe.  There are literally four steps.

IMG_4658_1Step 1: Wrap asparagus in bacon.

IMG_4667_1Step two, three and four: put bacon wrapped asparagus on a rack, sprinkle with pepper and bake.

Bacon makes everything seem more gourmet and complicated. But really, this is as easy as it gets.

{Easy Peasy Recipeasy} Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
  • Two bunches asparagus
  • 1 lb bacon
  • Black pepper
Instructions
  1. preheat the oven to 400 F
  2. Rinse and dry your asparagus.
  3. Wrap the asparagus with bacon– I wrapped four stalks at a time.
  4. Place the asparagus on a cooking rack over a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, flip and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy (I cooked mine under the broiler for the last 5 minutes to insure crispiness.)
  6. Eat ’em up!

Simple and delicious: that’s what I’m all about.
